How it works

A clear path from your idea to a name you can use.

No guesswork about what happens next. Four steps, and you always know where you are.

Step 01

Tell us what you're building

Start with a short brief. It is where the naming begins, so detail helps.
  • Your business, brand, product or idea
  • What it does, and who it is for
  • Industry or category
  • The positioning and personality you want
  • Words or ideas you like, and any to avoid
Step 02

We develop the names

We work from your brief and develop names for your project. We weigh what the business does, who it serves, how it should be seen, and whether a name actually fits. Considered work, not a generated list to sift through.
Step 03

You receive your names

Your names arrive set out clearly, each with:
  • The name itself
  • Its meaning and what it brings to mind
  • A reason for why it fits what you are building
You choose with the reasoning in front of you.
Step 04

Take the name further

Depending on your package, we act on the name you choose:
  • CAC availability search and reservation
  • Preliminary trademark search on your selected name
  • Domain and social handle availability
  • Full CAC business name registration and documents

Good to know

A few things, said plainly.

Clear expectations make for a better result. Here is how we work.

On scope

You are commissioning a naming service

You are paying for developed names and the agreed deliverables, not an open-ended search. No unlimited revisions. If an extra name is offered, it is one more name, not a fresh round.

On changes

A changed brief is new work

If you substantially change the original brief after work has begun or after delivery, that is a new scope and may need a new payment. Getting the brief right at the start keeps things simple.

On CAC

We help, within what CAC allows

We search, reserve and register, but availability and approval rest with CAC, and CAC and government fees are separate and vary by registration type. We handle the process and confirm costs before filing.

On checks

Preliminary, not legal clearance

Trademark, domain and social checks are preliminary and reflect what is available at the time of checking. A strong signal, not a formal legal opinion or a guarantee.
